Make a Difference 2025: Careers with a Cause
Are you passionate about making a social impact? Do you want to explore career opportunities in the non-profit sector? Join us for our annual Make a Difference event, hosted by UG’s Career Services on May 15th, from 1 PM to 6 PM at the House of Connections!
What to expect
This annual event is designed for all students at the University of Groningen who are interested in working for non-profits, NGOs, and other organizations dedicated to social change and improvement. You will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about careers in the non-profit sector
- Get expert insights on applications and essential skills
- Join interactive workshops
- Meet potential employers at our information market and networking drinks
- Get the opportunity to network with professionals from NGOs and non-profits
- Engage in speed-dating sessions with industry professionals

Register today to secure your spot. Closer to the event, you will receive an email with a Google Form to select your preferred workshops and speed dates. Please make sure to complete the form by May 5th to finalize your choices. Note that if you sign up after May 5th, you may not be able to participate in a workshop (of your choice).
